Good morning everyone! I wanted to share my new dining room curtains with you. Well, they aren’t “new”, but they are new to me. They were actually my moms bedroom tab top curtains. She changed them out and gave these to me. A couple of weeks ago I moved the linen curtains from here into my bedroom. There weren’t enough of the fish tale design from the bedroom to use in the dining room. I have moved the bedroom curtains to the upstairs guest bedroom, that I am trying to put together. These windows sat pretty much bare until Mom said she would bring me her tab tops and I could fix them like I did the ones in the kitchen. Of course, I loved that idea, plus they were Free, added bonus. 🙂 I am really pleased with how they turned out. Yes, these are simple tab top curtains. They are displayed upside down. I took the inner tab on each panel and pull it upward and across then through the curtain rod to hold into place. I then cut off all the remaining tabs. That’s it. Poof! Simple prim curtains. I prefer to take my photos at night but here lately I haven’t had the time. I apologize the darkness of the photos. Below are some random pictures of the dining room. Above and Below: You may notice a little peek of the living. I have been moving the furniture around, trying something new. Not ready to share it yet. The room still needs “something”. Not sure what that something is yet but definitely still a work in progress. Still Loving my yard sale, yarn winder, find! The other day I was at Lowe’s and saw these beadboard design light switch covers on clearance. So, Of course, they had to come home with me. I’m loving them in the kitchen and bath. I also wanted to let everyone know that I found the Blue Ball Anniversary Jars at Lowe’s yesterday. *Southern Illinoisans: I found them at Mt. Vernon’s Lowe’s. Carbondale didn’t have any. Price: $9.99 for a set of six. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet. Right now, I’m just enjoying looking at them and high fiving myself for actually finding them. 🙂 I have been working on a little project in my Mud Room. I’m so excited, hope it turns out the way I want it to. I’ll be sure to share as soon as I’m done with it.
