This beautiful small curtain panel is French and dates to the early to mid 19th century! This beautiful white curtain is made of a light, gauzy weight cotton thread with an open weave. I believe this is Indian gauze! The little spiral polka dots where hand-worked onto the surface of this amazingly fine little curtain! This curtain is all about the beautiful, clean aged white, soft tone, and the beautiful details like the dots, some small hand-stitched mends and the tiny metal curtain rings at the gathered top. Ready to hang, or ideal for use of the fabric is other projects! I have a matching panel, so simply increase the quantity to receive two of these lovely little curtains! ( TTFF1025 ) MEASUREMENTS : This curtain measures about 47.5 inches long by 17.5 inches wide at the top, and 30.5 inches wide along the bottom. CONDITION : This curtain is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are some small, pale speckled holes and age marks or stains on this piece that may or may not wash fully. Please be extremely careful if you choose to hand wash this piece since the fabric is such a light weight. I would recommend not washing, or gently hand washing. There are many gorgeous TINY hand stitched mends on these curtains, they were very well cared for over the generations. There are some curtain rings missing on these curtains. Condition reflected in the price!
