Fabric by the Metre
Description Order Sample Our wonderful Pheasant fabric is 100% cotton and can be bought ‘by the metre.’ This lovely design features the magnificent long tailed male Pheasant gamebird flying across a stone green background. Sophie has captured the distinctive rich chestnut, golden-brown and black markings on the body and tail, with a dark green head, red face wattling and white ring around the neck. Perfect for making your own tablecloths, curtains, cushions and blinds or for upholstering chairs and other furniture. Please note: we only sell our fabrics by the metre and cannot cut ½ metre lengths. If you select 2 in the quantity box above you will receive one 2m length. If you select 3 in the quantity box you will receive one 3m length etc. Part of the Pheasant collection 100% cotton Machine washable Pattern repeat: 10.5cm Width 1.6m edge to edge (usable approx 1.55m) We recommend you order a fabric sample before placing a full order as cut fabric cannot be returned unless faulty. Please note: When our fabrics are constructed into other products (e.g. curtains, blinds etc.) we would recommend pre-washing the fabric before construction if you are planning to launder the product. If your final items require cleaning (eg curtains), we would recommend dry cleaning to avoid any shrinkage. This is because all fabrics will be subject to some degree of shrinkage and this can vary dependent on the type of fabric and the conditions it is used in. For example the lining of your curtains may shrink differently to the Sophie Allport cotton fabric. As part of the production process of our fabrics there may be up to a 2cm discrepancy in the print alignment. Some degree of fading of colour will occur naturally over time.
