Q: I can’t figure out a practical, budget-friendly, good looking window treatment solution for the large bow window in our family room. The woven roller shades on the windows right now are ok — and I wouldn’t be opposed to keeping them up — but I’d like to add drapes or something to soften them up. I’m not concerned at all about blocking out light, but I would like to have some privacy at night — we are really on display when the sun goes down!

Our new 13/16 in. adjustable bay window curtain rods are perfect for mounting valances and curtains over bay windows. Each side is adjustable from 20 to 36 in. and the center piece adjusts from 38 to 72 in. Also available as a double bay window curtain rod.
Interior Decorating
Designed for use with eyelet curtains, this eyelet bay pole features a unique bending system that allows you to perfectly fit it to the angles of your bay window. Supplied with a patented spirit level to ensure level fitting, this 4m bay pole uses brackets that can be ceiling or wall mounted and is finished in a traditional antique brass colourway.
