Welcome to UpStaged Vintage This is a large vintage single jacquard brocade curtain. In a striking shiny bright orange fabric with simple grass design. Easily big enough for a door curtain but the fabric could also be used for upholstery or clothing, it is fairly light weight for a jacquard but you can feel how strong it is. A great quality and good quantity of fabric; enough to make 2-4 cushions (depending on size) to add a pop of colour to your bed or sofa. I can’t help thinking it would be pretty amazing corset fabric if you happen to have corsetry skills. And definitely a good cloth for making period costumes for any theatrical production or costume drama. If you are creative you probably have much better ideas than me. It is guaranteed to make a statement and an impact however you use it in. It could be ideal for a costume or props department or professional upholsterer even. In VERY GOOD vintage condition, clean with no holes, stains or bad odours. It has a single row of curtain tape, which can be used to hang it as a curtain but could easily be unpicked if you want to re-use the fabric for another project.
