Hat Styles & Options: The Skull hat is very similar to the hats that are disposable in many hospitals, they have ties, are o
pen in the back and have no elastic, favored by most men, although women also like these. The Pixie is a very popular style currently, less bulky than bouffant, has elastic at the back and is great if you wear your hair in a high bun. The Ponytail hat has an elastic pouch that allows you to put your in it and then ribbon to tie at the top of your ponytail. This ponytail may fit differently than other ponytail hats. The ponytail hat has been made off of the pixie model, not off of a skull cap model. It is to be worn with a roll. The Bouffant is very similar to the disposable models, however this has a headband that gives it additional comfort and gathered elastic around the nape. It also has cloth ties. The Euro Bouffant is the same, but has no cloth ties, it has an exit point at the nape and a toggle for adjustment. The Euro Pixie is an elastic toggle backed option that is like a bouffant but no band and no excess fabric. The picture shown is with a long haired wig all tucked in. The Mega Bouffant is bigger and helps those with loads of hair contain it all in one hat. The insulated options are great for those that suffer in the cold, either a cold work environment or are undergoing chemo treatments. These insulated options have a layer of fleece that is completely covered by cotton so that there are no fuzz concerns in OR or procedural areas. All hats are lined on the sides and have reinforced stitches to prevent any separation or break down. These hats are built to last and they are going to make you or a gift recipient look great. Mask: This is a fabric mask to wear while protecting yourself from the germs all around. Great for folks undergoing chemo or living in areas where airborne illnesses require precautions. The mask is guaze fabric lined, so it lightweight. The mask also has extra comfy elastic ear loops. Masks can be purchased separately via the mask listing for $14. Chemo Combo is a matching insulated hat with a mask. Please indicate when ordering if you want a skull or pixie style cap. Lead Lining: This is a option adds a layer of .25mm Pb equivalent layer to your scrub hat.This is not a complete hat this is simply a layer of protection added to your Custom Hat Order. This extra layer of production will provide additional radiation protection. This layer of lead will only go around 3/4 the circumference of the head. This will not go on the top of your head, just around. The lead will be in the same location as the lead lined disposable hats. The Skull, Pixie, Ponytail, Euro Pixie will all have the lead stitched to the lining fabric so their will be no stitching showing on the outside.
