feed sacks used as cafe curtains I cut my feed sacks to the size I needed for my windows then rolled the edges under and hemmed on the sewing machine. You do not have to hem the edges, but could leave them raw for a more rustic look, or hem with iron-on hemming tape. Because I had shelving on one side and a cabinet on the other, I screwed in eye hooks to hold picture wire.
